Lamictal not cause excessive Weight Loss or loss of memory over the years?
I've been taking for two years and lost 30 pounds during those years. I can not gain weight. And my memory is pretty awful (haha, but I do not know how long it has been because I can not remember!) So no one has taken Lamictal for several years and realized any of these symptoms (weight loss or memory loss or inability to concentrate)? I'm 22 years old, 5'2 weighed 130 and now weighs 100.
My husband has taken Lamictal for about four years without any weight or memory loss. I suggest you talk with your psychiatrist about what is happening. Maybe something else causing your problem, if not, the physician should assess whether Lamictal is the best medicine for you. Take care of yourself!
