Rapid Weight Loss during pregnancy later?
I'm 18 and 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a girl. Last week I went the doctor and they said they had lost 5 pounds that week. This week, I say I lost 6 pounds, 11 pounds in 2 weeks. My doctor wants to see me earlier than usual, and seems concerned. However, she would say nothing. This makes my husband and me a little uncomfortable. Any ideas or suggestions?
If there is a concern to tell your doctor. You are 38 weeks, so if you are walking more or you have heartburn and eat less which may be the reasons. However, I find it hard to believe that your doctor keeps on information. Another thing to remember is it's been 37 weeks for your baby is at term. Nothing to worry. You said if something waa wrong. Long before that date! Congratulations and enjoy pregnancy!
