
Will I lose weight if I fast one day per week?
I’m a 34 year old woman, 5′1″ & 185lbs. I walk on my treadmill for an hour each day, 0% incline & 3mph. I have an office desk job (sedentary work). If I eat 1700 calories per day Mon-Sat, & eat nothing at all on Sun, will I lose about 1lb/wk. Or will fasting on Sunday each week cause my metabolism to slow down & I lose nothing?
No…you will only lose weight through a regular regimen and exercise.
