
Overweight 13 Year Old, how can i Lose Weight Fast but healthy?
Okay, So im 13 years old, about 5′5 and i weigh 61.4 kilos, (135 pounds) Yeah, im overweight. Although, i don’t look fat. I’m kinda chunky/chubby, but i exercise a lot. i play volleyball and soccer and do ALOT of school sports. So I can say i get atleast 30 mins of excersise a day. So I am on the wrestling team and I weigh 135 pounds. Im the heaviest by over 15 pounds. I need to drop down atleast 10 in 3 weeks. I must admit, i do eat a lot of junk food, what should i do to stop eating so much and to lose weight?

Drink tons of water to help keep the toxins out.
You are already exercising a lot, so good for you.
You are only 135 pounds. That’s not a big deal at all, but you do need to be realistic. You may be able to drop 10 pounds if you give yourself a month and work HARD. The reason is because skinnier people have a harder time losing weight. And you are not fat. So you need to make a commitment and stick to it to lose that weight.
You already seem to like excercise, so why not take it one step further and start going for 30 minute jogs after dinner?
Try to stick to salads with very little low-fat dressing, and lean meats for your main dishes. DON’T FORGET BREAKFAST! It is the most important meal of the day for a reason! Try to eat oatmeal, or really high-fibre cereal with some fruit. Fibre-1 is great, although a little bland. You could always top it off with sliced fruit. Also, make sure you eat within an hour of waking up.
Never let your tummy rumble. Lose the whole “three meals a day” thing. Instead, aim for five. That might seem crazy, but the idea is to keep your metabolism constantly moving. When you allow yourself to get hungry between meals, your body thinks it’s starving, and tries to hold onto everything it can. Which consequently means it will hold onto your Body Fat and try to burn muscle for energy. As long as they are healthy, low calorie meals, you will be fine.
If you feel like you MUST eat some junk, eat it in the morning. That will give you all day to burn it off. Then swear to yourself you won’t eat anything bad for the rest of the day.
Allow yourself to cheat. Someone said don’t drink pop all week, then reward yourself by having ice cream on the weekend. That’s a great idea. If you try to cut everything out all the time, you are more likely feel deprived and give up.
Don’t eat for three hours before bed. So if you go to bed at 11pm, don’t eat past 8pm. Anything you eat right before bed, you will have trouble digesting, and it is more likely to turn To Fat instead of being used for energy (since you’re sleeping, obviously).
But the big one is commitment. You are young, which is a great time to start focusing on these kinds of healthy choices, so that you can stick with them for the rest of your life.
