Is there a weight limit to birth control pills?
(Specifically levenorgestrel only?) I know that the patch loses it’s effectiveness after 180 lbs, but I haven’t seen anything about pills and weight limits.
Sorry – I should’ve been more specific. When I said levenorgestrel, I was referring to “Plan B”. Is there a weight limit where it becomes less effective? I’m currently over 200 lbs.

The risk is highest for overweight women utilizing low-dose or very-low-dose birth control pills.
