How does “limiting the breakdown of fats within the digestive system” promote weight-loss?
My friend, who happens to be overweight, wants to buy this tea thing that claims to make you lose weight and is made of all natural ingredients. Me, being my average skeptical self, went to check out their website and here’s what it says:
The all natural, tri-active, fast acting Weight Loss formula for rapid body mass reduction works by:
1. Suppressing the appetite,
2. Limiting the breakdown of fats within the digestive system,
3. Restricting fat and high caloric component absorption.
Assuming all these claims are true and healthy, #1 and #3 make sense, but how does #2 make sense?
OMG, that might be unhealthy, fats are broken down by bile from the liver, and if they ‘limit breakdown’ are they targeting the liver? maybe
