Loose more weight by running or step aerobics?

I’m trying to Loose Weight fast but don’t know which PE class is good to take, running or step aerobics?

Step aerobics is more effective because it combines cardio with strength training. Runners typically lose muscle at the same rate that sedentary people do. This is why you should combine running with a strength training program. Running is great for your heart, lungs, and burning calories. Running can put more stress on the body which can increase injuries. Runners in general are less prone to weight gain.

Step are great for cardio and calorie burning. There is controlled strength activity built into the program for strength and it is good for preventing osteoperosis.

Honestly, both are great. The biggest difference is which one you enjoy. Some people love running. Others love the group dynamics of a step class. You are more in control with the running class i.e. if you want to go faster you can. You are more in the control of the teacher in a step class.
