
Green Tea Detox & Weight Loss?
Right, I’ve always been a big girl, but would desperately like to lose weight before March, because my boyfriend and I are going away for the weekend, and I want to be comfortable in my swim-suit in the pool.
I’ve heard of a diet in which you drink Green Tea and eat Clear Chicken Soup (chicken stock dissolved in hot water. Add a small amount of egg noodles if you wish) .
I know that I wouldn’t be getting my RDA of vitamins, but I take Supplements which includes 100% of all my RDA of essential Vitamins, so that wouldn’t be a problem.
I don’t want any stupid answers to this question, because I will report you.

My fear would be that you will burn out drinking green tea and clear chicken soup after three weeks, and then you’ll be burnt out with Dieting! It might work initially, but you will burn out soon (and even if you manage to do it until March, what happens when you start eating “normal” again??).
After trying nearly every diet out there, from WW to South Beach and many others, the most success I’ve had is from counting calories. I really like the Flat Belly Diet, but I skipped the first phase and jumped right in. I do drink the “Sassy Water” everyday because I like it. I write down everything I eat, and the calories (I carry around a little pocket calorie guide for when I’m out), and when I am done, I AM DONE. Also, incorporate some physical exercise a few times a week, even if it’s just walking the dog at the park or around the block. I really think you’d have much more success with this approach than drinking green tea and soup for three months…..because realistically, you won’t make it on that until March.
