Weight Loss and low blood sugars!?
ive joined weight watchers as i want to lose my pregnancy weight i had gestational diabetes and had to go on insulin at the end of my pregnancy. but lately ive noticed ive been getting a lot of hypo esp after i feed my son and if its near a meal time is this a sign im going to develop diabetes or do you have any tips to help avoid getting them as i feel totally off for the rest of the day after them . thats another reason i want to lose my extra weight as i want to reduce my risk of developing it on a good note i lost 6.5 pounds think thats 3kg
im not on insulin any more and i think i have hypoglycemia but im wondering if it will lead to diabetes . or how can i avoid them while breast feeding and losing weight ive a good bit to lose at least 3 stone
I suggest you learn as much as you can about diabetes treatment and prevention. There’s a lot of things you can do. Drinking milk is not one of them. There’s a $10.00 book that will help you understand the causes and treatments much better than any of us can provide you with here. After reading it, you will have a much greater understanding of what is going on in our bodies. Check it out: http://www.diabetesimprovement.com/
Here’s another great site that will help you achieve optimum health, feel great, and minimize or eliminate your chances of becoming diabetic: http://www.drmcdougall.com
I’ve tried most of the suggestions I’m recommending and the results are: my blood sugar is easy to manage (my last A1C was 5.8), my weight is easy to maintain, and I feel as good today as I did twenty years ago. Over 80% of the answerers here insist that diabetics heal slowly and are prone to infection. That is not necessarily the case. I heal quickly and rarely get any kind of infection. The reason? Good blood sugar control through diet, exercise, and proper weight maintenance.
