Weight Loss Running Performance

Weight Loss Running Performance
I really need help I’m losing weight no matter what I try?

okay i’ve been on a rollercoaster.

I’m 16, turning 17 next month, 5′8 last time i checked. since august of last year i went from 103 up to peak at 115 and now that i’m running track i’m down at 106 again- its very disappointing im so sad.

I have never been at the same weight.. I keep gaining and losing, and I managed to check today and turns out i’ve been losing weight.

and its not like I haven’t been trying. I was taking muscle milk and it was working, but I havent been taking it for abuot 4 days before i switched to champion sports heavyweight 900 on thursday. I eat as often as I can, twice at school and 3-4 meals at home, including the supplements. I blame track practice for my Weight Loss, but my performance has also been suffering because of my weight loss in my opinion. I can’t eat alot before track because I will throw it up. I must run track. what should I do?

It’s not always that eating more will help, this will speed up your metabolism and actually not make you gain weight. I have a similar issue, (though 110 at 5′6 isn’t bad) and I know what you mean. I found that protein supplements didn’t help as much as I thought, I think that you actually need fat to convert to muscle. It’s not always how much you eat but more about what you eat. An egg a day is a start and switch to just 3-4 main meals a day, and then add things like protein shakes and bars, but don’t have 5-6 full meals a day. Take some of the Protein Shake before practice and then some after this will help your body build more muscle and thus more weight. Look at the food pyramid, I know it sounds stupid but seriously, eat more bread and then follow the other things, also eat more grilled stuff that fried. Other than that some people just have fast metabolisms, the opposite of those tho cant lose weight, and eating more will just make it worse. Other than that stress can cause weight loss as well, I mean just relax about it and have your three meals a day and you should be fine.
