The Biggest Loser Show. A Stupid (and unfair) Way to Measure Success?
So you have two teams pitted against each other. Success is measure only by the scale (which I believe is BS to begin with. I gained weight on the scale and lost inches with my New Diet).
Why do they only “judge” by the scale? Don’t the “diet experts” of this show know that a 400 lb man is going to have a much, much, much easier time getting bigger numbers on a scale than a 190 lb woman? And why have a team of very big men competing against a team of smaller women. Isn’t it a given that the men will lose more weight given their big size?
And how ridiculous is this? When a contestant “only” loses 2 lbs a week, the team is upset with her because she lost so little. 2 lbs in a week! Isn’t that the recommended weekly Weight Loss rate?
I just think the judging is completly unfair…what do you think? A much heavier person has a natural advantage in getting the bigger numbers. I only could stomach watching 10 minutes of this stupid show, so maybe I don’t know the whole story.
it’s a subliminal message “The Biggest Loser”
